The Town of Whitby seeks a skilled Parks Maintainer to join our dedicated team. In this hands-on position, you will perform renovations and repairs on various park facilities, utilizing skills in carpentry, plumbing, and welding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform renovations and repairs on park facilities

• Utilize carpentry, plumbing, or welding skills as needed

• Conduct seasonal tasks like snow removal and event setups

• Maintain equipment safely and effectively

• Provide customer service and address community inquiries

Requirements:

• Secondary school diploma required

• Three years of parks maintenance experience

• Valid Class “DZ” Driver’s License in good standing

• Registered Playground Practitioner Certification

• Physical fitness for strenuous labor in varied conditions
