Project Estimator

There are 2 types of experience we are seeking. A qualified candidate must possess at least one, both would be ideal.

• Someone who has experience in estimating or project coordination in the same or similar field.
• Someone who has experience in the construction field, knows the products and how they go together and has confidence working with numbers, but might be new to estimating.

• 1+ year of project estimating experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

• Construction experience (field or office)
• Hands‑on experience in estimating, project coordination, or similar work
• Experience with take‑off software (Planswift or similar)
• Strong Excel, Word, and Outlook skills

• Highly organized and detail‑oriented (Own It – you take responsibility for getting it right)
• Able to prioritize and handle multiple projects at once (Elevate – you stay sharp and raise the bar)
• A problem‑solver who takes initiative (Hungry – you’re driven to learn and improve)
• Comfortable communicating with vendors and team members (Collaborate – you work well with others to get the job done)

• Review drawings, plans, and specs to prepare accurate estimates
• Perform take‑offs and quantify materials (Planswift or similar)
• Identify labor, material, and equipment needs for projects
• Work with vendors and suppliers to gather pricing
• Build and present bid proposals and spreadsheets
• Manage multiple bids at once and meet deadlines
• Track and maintain the Bid Docket
• Communicate with internal teams to ensure smooth project handoff
• Continue building knowledge of construction systems and materials

• Must be able to pass pre‑employment screening
• Must pass a background check
