Overview
As a Geek Squad Agent, you will be the first point of contact for people seeking technology support in the Best Buy store. You will assess customer needs, perform basic services, and partner with other agents on more complex repairs.
Responsibilities- Provide positive, timely service to customers during check‑in and check‑out.
- Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, taking detailed notes, and providing accurate time estimates.
- Help customers set up new devices and advise on whether to repair or replace old devices.
- Monitor service queues and give accurate status updates to customers.
- Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified training courses.
- Communicate and partner with fellow agents.
- 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
- Passion for technology and desire to solve problems.
- Ability to adapt and learn new skills in a fast‑paced industry.
