Mon‑Fri 2:45 pm‑6 pm | Pay Rate: $15‑18

• Organize program materials for lessons and activities, as well as document attendance, incidents, and other observations.
• Deliver our dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character‑building that expands school day learning in a meaningful way.
• Using your coursework training and our in‑person training, model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety, well‑being, and attention of all children while supporting homework completion, leading fun fitness activities, and guiding children at play.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills with varied audiences including children, parents, staff and school personnel.
• Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain safety and well‑being of all children.
• Meet regularly with the Program Manager regarding professional progress and team accountability.

• Outstanding customer service and relationship‑building skills
• Works well in a team environment
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age
• Ability to lift 25 lbs
• Excellent communication skills with varied audiences including children, parents, staff and school personnel
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living
• Respect for and dedication to working with children with special needs
• A love for children!

• 18 years old or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 240 hours or more working in a licensed childcare facility as an assistant
• 2 non‑credit department‑approved courses in early childhood education
• or 2 credits in early childhood and one non‑credit department‑approved course in early childhood
• or a certificate from the WI registry as a child‑care teacher
• Completed Staff Health Report and clear TB test within 30 days of hire date (or within past 12 months)
