Job DutiesThe School of Nursing and Health Professions invites applications for an open pool of Instructional Academic Staff in the fields of Nursing, Kinesiology, and Social Work. This evergreen posting is intended to identify qualified candidates who may be considered for instructional roles as openings arise.
- Specific need for clinical course instruction in the Undergraduate Nursing program
- Specific need for a Registered Dietitian with specialty preparation in exercise physiology and sports nutrition to teach nutrition courses in the Kinesiology program
- Specific need for an MSW (Master of Social Work) Field coordinator to manage the field education components of the graduate Social Work program
- Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance
- Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction
- Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations

- Nursing: MSN
- Kinesiology: MS
- Social Work: MSW
Minimum Education Requirements
MSN Nurse Educator emphasis, Social Work, Kinesiology:
- PhD or other terminal degree
DNP Family Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Anesthesia, and/or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner emphases
- DNP or PhD required
- Licensure:
Relevant professional certification (e.g., FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, CRNA); and unencumbered WI APNP license
