The Club ensures that high-quality programming and outstanding facilities are accessible to families.

In addition to its main Clubhouse on Parkway and Broad, the Club operates after-school care sites in several local elementary schools and in Omro and Winneconne. By combining safe spaces, dedicated staff, and engaging activities, the Club helps young people realize their full potential.

Role Description

The Director of Club Programming plays a pivotal role in providing leadership, oversight, and daily management of program directors - Teen, Quest, and Radford during after-school hours. During the summer, this position oversees and assists in the programs. This position is tasked with ensuring the effective functioning of three main program areas—Radford, Quest, and Teen Programs—while also supervising kitchen services, transportation logistics, front desk operations, and athletic programming.

Qualifications

Program Operations & Leadership

● Provide direct leadership and oversight for Radford, Quest, and Teen Program operations.

● Supervise and support Program Directors, Coordinators, and frontline staff to ensure high-quality youth development programming.

● Establish operational standards, goals, and performance metrics for each program area.

● Monitor program quality, participation, safety, and member engagement.

● Ensure compliance with organizational policies, licensing requirements, and Boys & Girls Club standards.

● Collaborate with program leaders to develop schedules, staffing plans, and continuous improvement strategies.

Staff Supervision & Development

● Assist in the hiring process, training, and supervision of staff.

● Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture.

● Provide coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.

● Conduct regular performance evaluations.

● Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.

Kitchen & Food Service Operations

● Oversee all kitchen and food service operations, including meal preparation, service delivery, inventory management, and food safety compliance.

● Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal health regulations.

● Coordinate meal programs and vendor relationships.

● Monitor food service budgets and operational efficiency.

Transportation Management

● Direct transportation operations for Club members and programs after-school.

● Coordinate bus routes, schedules, vehicle usage, and driver assignments after-school.

● Ensure compliance with transportation safety regulations and organizational policies with assistance from the COO..

● Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and transportation records with assistance from the COO and facilities staff.

Front Desk & Member Services

● Oversee front desk operations.

● Ensure excellent customer service for youth, families, visitors, and community partners.

● Develop systems to improve communication and check-in/check-out procedures.

Physical and Mental

Qualifications:

● High energy level, comfortable performing multi-faceted projects.

● Good interpersonal abilities – able to interact effectively with co-workers of all levels as well as with representation of other organizations and institutions.

● Ability to get along with diverse personalities; tact, maturity, and flexibility.

● Physical requirements include:sight, hearing, sitting, standing, stooping, running, strenuous sports related activities, and lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.

● Must be able to function under fast paced and noisy conditions.
