Overview
For over seven decades, this organization has been a leader in crafting premium, sustainable products that elevate everyday experiences. They are looking for a Process Engineer to shape the next chapter of innovation and operational excellence.
Responsibilities- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain exceptional product quality through Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methods.
- Monitor and enhance equipment performance, contributing to system design, layout revisions, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Support new product and equipment launches by conducting trials, defining KPIs, analyzing results, and pushing operational excellence.
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and food‑safety requirements (e.g., GMP, HACCP) through detailed risk assessments and proactive corrective actions.
- Partner across cross‑functional teams to resolve process issues and communicate technical insights, trends, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
- Train production teams on equipment, procedures, and new processes while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
- Take on additional responsibilities that support manufacturing and organizational goals.
- Strong working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, PFMEA, root cause analysis, and quality systems.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to apply data‑driven decision‑making to solve complex problems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and 2D CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Draft Sight); 3D CAD experience (such as Solid Works) is a plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
- Detail‑oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in process engineering, quality engineering, or manufacturing operations; experience in converting or printing is beneficial.
- Safety: Driving disciplined process design and risk mitigation.
- Teamwork: Partnering closely with cross‑functional teams.
- Customer Focus: Ensuring products consistently exceed expectations.
- Ownership: Taking accountability for process outcomes and equipment performance.
- Initiative: Continuously seeking ways to innovate and improve.
- Creativity: Developing smarter, more efficient production solutions.
