Overview

Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain exceptional product quality through Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methods.
  • Monitor and enhance equipment performance, contributing to system design, layout revisions, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
  • Support new product and equipment launches by conducting trials, defining KPIs, analyzing results, and pushing operational excellence.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and food‑safety requirements (e.g., GMP, HACCP) through detailed risk assessments and proactive corrective actions.
  • Partner across cross‑functional teams to resolve process issues and communicate technical insights, trends, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Train production teams on equipment, procedures, and new processes while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
  • Take on additional responsibilities that support manufacturing and organizational goals.
Qualifications
  • Strong working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, PFMEA, root cause analysis, and quality systems.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to apply data‑driven decision‑making to solve complex problems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and 2D CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Draft Sight); 3D CAD experience (such as Solid Works) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
  • Detail‑oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
  • Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in process engineering, quality engineering, or manufacturing operations; experience in converting or printing is beneficial.
