Work model:
- On-Site
- 7:00AM - 4:00PM
- Monday - Friday
- Lead an engineering team of engineers, designers, and technicians
- Guide and develop team members through ongoing feedback, training opportunities, and individualized development plans
- Oversee department budget, project operating costs, and budget request preparation
- Analyze market share and P&L for the product line to strengthen business acumen
- Partner with internal and external customers across segments and functions to build strong relationships
- Present and justify technical engineering decisions to Engineering leadership and external customers
- Deliver projects of moderate complexity on schedule
- Execute advanced engineering calculations, investigations, and assignments aligned with industry standards
- Produce plans, designs, calculation methods, and technical reports
- Advance and refine standard engineering methodologies and procedures
- Contribute to the budgeting process by recommending capital improvements and preparing supporting data
- Maintain clear communication with suppliers, customers, and external resources on technical matters
- Convey project goals and expectations to team members
- Uphold proper engineering criteria and drawing standards
- Ensure technical activities comply with company policies and procedures
- Review designs for performance, safety, and reliability
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- 5+ years of related experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive or heavy-vehicle equipment and related systems
- Experience with a high-level CAD system
