Role OverviewAs a Tooling Project Engineer, you will oversee tooling projects from concept through production, ensuring quality, efficiency, and on‑time delivery. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams, manage timelines, and support tooling design, fabrication, and optimization.
Key Responsibilities- Develop project plans, timelines, and tooling requirements
- Oversee tooling design, fabrication, and validation
- Conduct inspections to ensure tooling meets quality and performance standards
- Troubleshoot tooling and process issues; implement corrective actions
- Communicate project updates to internal teams and stakeholders
- Analyze tooling performance data to drive improvements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across tooling and manufacturing processes
- Plastics injection molding experience required
- 5+ years of experience in tooling, engineering, or related manufacturing roles
- Proficiency with CAD software (Solid Works, Creo, or similar)
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Effective communication and cross‑functional collaboration abilities
- Proactive approach to troubleshooting and quality improvement
