Job Description: We are seeking a motivated Civil Project Manager with an EIT certification (or intent to obtain within six months) to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing and executing impactful water and wastewater projects under the mentorship of experienced professionals. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow your technical skills while making tangible contributions to community-focused engineering solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and coordination of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including treatment facilities, distribution systems, and pump stations
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support engineering evaluations and regulatory compliance
  • Perform technical analyses and ensure designs comply with TCEQ, local, state, and federal regulations
  • Prepare design reports, specifications, and engineering calculations
  • Collaborate with CAD designers to review and mark up project drawings for quality assurance
  • Research Texas regulations, TCEQ permits, and industry standards to support ongoing projects
  • Support TCEQ permitting processes and regulatory coordination
  • Assist with field investigations, site visits, and data collection throughout Texas
  • Support project managers with technical and administrative tasks

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • EIT certification or intent to obtain within six months of hire
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with AutoCAD or Civil 3D
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Willingness to travel for site visits within Texas (approx. 10–15%)
  • Texas-based candidates only

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of water distribution and sanitary sewer modeling
  • Experience with Bio Win Modeling or water/wastewater treatment processes
  • Familiarity with TCEQ regulations and Texas permitting processes

Reports to: Senior Professional Engineer

Expected Salary: $65,000 – $90,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation includes a base salary and eligibility for our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
