Manufacturing Engineer IIJob Description

The Manufacturing Engineer II is responsible for coordinating the successful launch of New Product Introductions (NPI) within Operations. This role plays a key part in the transformation of facilities, technology transfer, and the ongoing maintenance of mixed model lines or value streams. The engineer will ensure the ongoing success of process improvement initiatives by implementing necessary policies, procedures, and process documentation.

Additionally, the position involves implementing demand-driven principles and strategies that support operational excellence and long-term plans with a focus on flexibility, speed, and responsiveness.

Responsibilities

+ Coordinate the successful launch of New Product Introductions (NPI) within Operations.

+ Contribute to facility transformation, technology transfer, and maintenance of mixed model lines or value streams.

+ Implement policies, procedures, and process documentation for process improvement initiatives.

+ Implement demand-driven principles and strategies to support operational excellence.

+ Ensure product, material, and information streams flow efficiently to minimize operation costs.

+ Contribute innovative ideas to improve business results.

+ Deploy standard tools, methodologies, standards, practices, and processes.

+ Implement continuous improvement initiatives to achieve customer satisfaction and fulfillment needs.

+ Collaborate with shop floor personnel to continuously improve manufacturing methods, systems, and controls.

+ Responsible for area layouts, process definition, PLC programming, design/selection, justification, and implementation of equipment, programs, and tooling.

Essential Skills

+ 3-5 years related experience in the Engineering function within a similar working environment.

+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology.

+ Proficiency in CAD (AutoCAD, Solid Works, and/or ProE).

+ Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.

+ Knowledge of lean principles and process improvements.

+ Diverse skills and experience leading projects.

+ Experience collaborating cross-functionally to achieve desired results.

Work Environment

The work environment involves collaborating closely with various departments to ensure the successful implementation of new product introductions and continuous improvements in manufacturing processes. The position requires proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Solid Works, and ProE, and involves working with both technical and non-technical teams to achieve business goals.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Oshkosh, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
