High Voltage Electrical Systems Engineer

ResponsibilitiesDesign functional, reliable, and cost-effective heavy-duty vehicle high voltage electrical systems.
Perform engineering analysis and design or re-design of electrical systems and subsystems for existing and new vehicles.
Under close supervision, perform basic engineering calculations, investigations, and tasks as assigned.
Support senior engineers in preparing basic plans, designs, computation methods, and reports.
Collaborate with other engineering or business support disciplines internally and suppliers externally.
Design electrical parts and components to correct parameters and specifications while incorporating quality, cost reliability, and ease of manufacturing.
Provide technical assistance for prototype, pilot, or production builds, including resolution of manufacturing problems.
Process engineering information through change notices, change proposals, and thorough print documentation.
Regular attendance is required.
RequirementsAccredited Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with internship experience or six or more months of related work experience.
Preferred SkillsAccredited Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Familiarity with programming languages and controls software.
Familiarity with Controller Area Network (CAN)/SAE J1939 protocol.
Automotive High Voltage Training/Certification(s).
Power Electronics and Machines familiarity.
Energy Storage system familiarity.
