A growing and reputable community bank is hiring for a VP Loan Operations Manager to join their team and take a leadership role in their Operations department. As VP Loan Operations Manager the right candidate will be a strategic thinker and lead an operations staff by example. What You Need:

• 5+ years of direct experience in retail loan operations within a banking or credit union setting
• 2+ years leadership or management experience
• Bachelor's Degree in finance or related field
• Strong understanding of retail/consumer loans and underwriting guidelines
• Mortgage loan underwriting and knowledge is a plus
• Experience working across departments with lenders, tellers, customer service
• Experience with retail loan transactions, underwriting and document preparation
• A go-getter, teamwork mentality to be an active participant in the day to day duties of loan operations
• The desire to be part of a great community banking family

Role Responsibilities:

• Manage loan operations team
• Retail processing, underwriting and loan imaging
• Complete files and ensure accuracy
• Responsible for running applicable reports
• Ensure accuracy of all documents and files
• Maintain sufficient internal control and compliance posture
