We are partnering with a growing, mid-sized private equity-backed company in Waukesha County to identify a Corporate Staff Accountant. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Prepare and maintain general ledger activity ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and internal management reports
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, and leadership teams
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Support external audit requests and compliance initiatives
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within accounting functions
  • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to corporate policies
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 1–4+ years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting or corporate preferred)
  • Strong understanding of GAAP principles
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Net Suite, SAP, Oracle, or similar) preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
