Job Description
The Loan Documentation Specialist coordinates the preparation, review, and completion of loan and lease documentation packages in compliance with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and investor standards. This on‑site, paper‑based role supports time‑sensitive processes, including release of loan collateral upon payoff and management of vehicle titles across all 50 states. The position involves regular interaction with internal teams, customers, and external partners such as DMVs, dealerships, brokers, and title companies to resolve inquiries and obtain necessary documentation.
The role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a high‑volume, deadline‑driven setting while supporting closing and funding activities as applicable.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Typically two to four years of relevant experience
- Basic knowledge of legal documents supporting loan or lease processing
- Basic understanding of closing and funding procedures, underwriting requirements, credit policies, and regulatory guidelines
- Ability to work effectively and accurately in a fast‑paced, high‑volume production environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to identify, resolve, and elevate complex issues with minimal guidance
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem‑solving skills related to documentation and processing
- Ability to learn and navigate documentation systems and automated processing tools
- Demonstrated initiative as a self‑starter with the ability to manage workload independently and seek additional work when available
- Willingness to learn, apply feedback, and adapt to structured processes and evolving procedures
Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.50 per hour.
