Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Data Analytics Developer with deep expertise in business intelligence (especially Tableau), database design/optimization, and automation of data workflows. The ideal candidate is an exceptional SQL/Python programmer who can build automated ETL pipelines, craft data visualizations, and translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions. This role balances strong technical skills with excellent communication to deliver insights and tell stories through data in visually engaging ways.

• Design and Automate Data Pipelines:
  Develop, optimize, and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and efficiency. Leverage Python and ETL tools to automate repetitive workflows and improve process reliability.
• Database Architecture:
  Design and optimize database structures and data models for analytics. Implement best practices in schema design, indexing, and query performance to support fast, scalable data retrieval and analysis.
• Business Intelligence & Visualization:
  Create interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau (and other BI tools) that are polished, usable, and tell a data-driven story. Ensure dashboards follow best practices for design and user experience.
• Stakeholder
  
  Collaboration:
  
  Gather requirements from business units and branch operations teams and translate questions into technical specifications. Serve as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Insight Delivery:
  Analyze complex datasets to identify trends and opportunities. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders through dashboards, presentations, or written reports to support data-driven decisions.
• Technical Leadership:
  Promote development best practices in code and tool usage. Document processes for governance and compliance with data standards. Provide guidance or mentorship to junior developers as needed.
• Customer-Focused Solutions:
  Engage with internal customers to refine requirements, iterate on solutions, and provide training and support to end-users to maximize analytics adoption.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Five to seven years of statistical and/or data analytics experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Business Intelligence Expertise:
  Proven experience with Tableau (creating complex dashboards, managing Tableau Server or similar) and effective data visualization design.
• Database & ETL
  
  Skills:
  
  Strong SQL and relational database design. Experience building and optimizing schemas, writing efficient queries, and maintaining data warehouses or data marts.
• Programming:
  Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation (pandas, scripting, API integration). Familiarity with SQL, R, or shell scripting is a plus.
• Analytical Thinking:
  Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with complex data sets.
• Communication
  
  Skills:
  
  Strong verbal and written communication; ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiences and to train users on analytics tools.
• Collaboration:
  
  Experience working in cross-functional teams and ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Advanced BI & Visualization:
  Tableau expertise (or Power BI) including storytelling features and performance-tuned dashboards.
• Data Ecosystem Knowledge:
  Experience with big data technologies or cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and data warehousing concepts.
• Additional Programming/Tools:
  Experience with R, Java, or ETL tools (e.g., Alteryx, Informatica); ability to create or consume APIs for data integration.
• Project Leadership:
  Project management or tech lead experience, capable of scoping and delivering projects.
