Our client is looking for 1-3 month Cloud Engineer I consultant. They acquired an organization, Berry Global. This key acquisition almost doubles the size of the organization. They are looking for someone who can help with this specific project related to integration. This person is going to be migrating the Azure App from the Berry tenant to the tenant. There is a large amount of work that is needed, and no straightforward Microsoft process for moving these apps due to different tenant IDs, application IDs, and user information.

The goal is to build all the apps that need to be moved, provide them to the security team with the same permissions as they had previously, and then have the security team handle any necessary troubleshooting during the cutover process. They are looking for someone who can serve as an extension of the cloud team, they are looking for "smart hands" and technical resources rather than a complete project management solution.

This person will also be highly supported by the internal cloud team for an major issues. There is a high probability that they will support other integration projects and be extended.
They are looking for a Cloud Engineer as a contractor; however we need to target candidates that are W2, open to conversion and/or extensions potentially in the future, although this is not guaranteed. Several other members of the Cloud team are former TEKsystems consultants that were hired for project work.

ROLE OVERVIEW
The IT Technical Specialist II - Cloud Platform is responsible for administering and configuration of cloud-based core platform and services. This role will also work closely with leadership to understand business requirements, identify priorities and develop roadmap and implementation plans for cloud-based platform solutions
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
Analyze and translate our business requirements into technical requirements
Help identify and communicate risks (business, application, technical) associated with our cloud platforms and solutions
o Support of Microsoft Azure and third-party cloud application integrations
o This will lead to supporting multi cloud platforms such as, AWS, Google
Support of Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google and third-party cloud application integrations
Support Software latform as a Service, compute virtualization, and software defined storage etworking
Support cloud identity solutions to ensure proper and secure authentication for on-premise and cloud solutions
Provide highest-level technical support to help resolve complex customer problems from on-premise to cloud solutions
Ensure that technical documentation (not included in the product documentation) that is needed by customers to effectively troubleshoot the product/solution is created and available for use.
Identify and work with BG to enhance tools, script automation, or other activities that will enable the team to work more efficiently and speed to accelerate issue identification and resolution.
Maintain a deep technical knowledge of data center technologies including:
Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, Virtualization, Storage, and Network frameworks

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
3-5 years of experience in Information Technology
3-5 years of experience in a similar role (Cloud Engineer, Automation engineer, Azure Specialist, AWS Engineer, Google Cloud Engineer)
Collaborate with other project teams on technical solutions and help improve there service.
Ability to learn and work with new and emerging technologies
Experience in automation technologies such as Terraform, Puppet, Azure DSC, Jenkins, JSON etc.
Significant understanding of Dev Ops, Agile and CI/CD Pipeline principles and methodologies
Understanding of ITIL practices, change control etc.
Excellent Verbal, presentation and written communications skills
Demonstrate analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and Perform Break/fix activities, engineering, complex implementations
Must establish, document, and help the organization follow standards, procedures, and processes
Experience in coordination and escalation to Microsoft support and ability to coordinate with first- and third-party software vendors as needed for resolution of business-impacting problems
Experience working with Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access, Role Based Access, ADFS, and Multi-factor Authentication works
Understanding of Role based access controls
Experience in Azure administration tooling such as Azure CLI, Azure Bash, Azure PS / ARM
