Service Desk Analyst

Position Overview

Service Desk contract (12+ months with strong potential for extension or conversion)

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday, 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM (on-site in Oshkosh, WI)

Initial training will take place Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

This organization is looking to add a Service Desk Technician to their Help Desk team. This is a long-term contract opportunity with a high likelihood of extension or full-time conversion. The team is currently transitioning service desk operations back in-house, creating strong growth potential and career path opportunities.

This role provides first-level technical support to end users via phone, email, and chat. Technicians will manage tickets within Service Now and support a variety of common issues, including:

+ Office 365 (O365) support

+ Active Directory (password resets, access requests)

+ General Microsoft application issues

+ Break/fix troubleshooting

+ SAP-related support

+ Hardware and Windows-related issues

There is also an increased volume of tickets related to ongoing O365 migration efforts.

This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates to gain hands-on experience in an enterprise environment. Candidates with prior service desk experience are also encouraged to apply.

Experience with O365 and Active Directory is highly preferred.

Candidates may be evaluated on the following:

+ Setting up and extending a display with a projector

+ Creating desktop shortcuts and pinning applications

+ Navigating Device Manager and Services

+ Basic networking (pinging devices, finding IP address)

+ Command Prompt navigation

+ Clearing browser cache

+ Connecting to print servers and mapping drives

+ Password resets in Active Directory

+ Clearing cached credentials

+ Rebuilding Outlook (.ost) files

+ Running Office applications in Safe Mode

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
