Principal Engineer; Data Analytics Job Oshkosh area,Wisconsin USA,IT/Tech

Position: Principal Engineer (Data Analytics)
Pay Rate: Up to $/year, up to 10% bonus
Location: Oshkosh, WI strongly preferred. New Hudson, MI site will also be considered.
Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days in office, up to 2 days remote)
Relocation: Offered to Oshkosh, WI, but not to New Hudson, MI
Travel: Minimum travel (1-2 times per year to other sites)
Citizenship: US Citizen or Green Card Holder Responsibilities:

Analyze and interpret datasets using statistical techniques, machine learning, and programming skills to extract insights and build models that solve business problems.
Utilize data science tools such as Azure Databricks, Power BI, Microsoft Office, Spark, Python, R, and

C.
Process structured and unstructured datasets to analyze large amounts of information to identify trends and patterns.
Prepare and deliver analysis results in visual and written forms to communicate data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs for complex business requirements.
Build complex predictive models and machine-learning algorithms and integrate them into existing systems or create new products.
Direct data science assignments, projects, visualization tasks, data quality improvements, and troubleshoot data incidents.
Resolve and document solutions to track and manage incidents, changes, problems, tasks, and demands.
Coach and mentor team members on new technologies and best practices across data science and business intelligence.
Support the advancement of the strategic roadmap for data science.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree with five (5) or more years of experience in the field or a related area.

Preferred Skills:

Master's or doctorate degree.
Expertise in Power Platforms.
Familiarity with LLM (open source or closed).
Experience in front-end web app development (Flaskapp, Gradio, etc.).
Familiarity with RAG architecture.
