Position Title: Welder
Wage: $19.00-$23.00 per hour based on experience
Shift: Weekend
Hours: 6:00am-6:30pm

Work a weekend shift, put in 36 hours and get paid for 40, and join a company where quality craftsmanship actually matters. This role is ideal for welders with strong TIG and MIG experience who know their way around blueprints, metal fabrication, and quality standards.

Welder Responsibilities- Fabricate and manufacture metal parts using welding and fabrication techniques.
- Perform TIG and MIG welding, potential exposure to spot welding and robotic welding.
- Read and interpret blueprints, product drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy.
- Produce strong, clean, and consistent welds.
- Test finished welds to ensure proper strength and tolerance.
- Follow all procedures, work instructions, and print requirements to meet quality standards.
- Perform routine machine maintenance as required.
- Troubleshoot welding or fabrication issues and provide process improvement suggestions.
- Maintain regular and timely attendance in accordance with the work schedule.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Post-secondary education in fabrication preferred.
- Five (5) years of welding or metal fabrication experience preferred.
- Prior experience with welding and metal fabrication operations and equipment.
- Ability to understand and interpret blueprints, product drawings, and specifications.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Knowledge of metal fabrication operations, capabilities, and equipment.
- Familiarity with standard welding tools and procedures, including: MIG and TIG welding, Aluminum welding, Metal fabrication, grinding, and finishing.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical specifications.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on process improvement.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of basic mechanical systems and mechanical issues.
