Position Title: Welder

Wage: $19.00-$23.00 per hour based on experience

Shift: Weekend

Hours: 6:00am-6:30pm

Ready to turn your welding skills into a long-term career? We are looking for skilled Welders in Oshkosh for a Direct Hire opportunity, to start ASAP. Work a weekend shift, put in 36 hours and get paid for 40, and join a company where quality craftsmanship actually matters. This role is ideal for welders with strong TIG and MIG experience who know their way around blueprints, metal fabrication, and quality standards.

• Fabricate and manufacture metal parts using welding and fabrication techniques.
• Perform TIG and MIG welding, potential exposure to spot welding and robotic welding.
• Read and interpret blueprints, product drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy.
• Produce strong, clean, and consistent welds.
• Test finished welds to ensure proper strength and tolerance.
• Follow all procedures, work instructions, and print requirements to meet quality standards.
• Perform routine machine maintenance as required.
• Troubleshoot welding or fabrication issues and provide process improvement suggestions.
• Maintain regular and timely attendance in accordance with the work schedule.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Post-secondary education in fabrication preferred.
• Five (5) years of welding or metal fabrication experience preferred.
• Prior experience with welding and metal fabrication operations and equipment.
• Ability to understand and interpret blueprints, product drawings, and specifications.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Knowledge of metal fabrication operations, capabilities, and equipment.
• Familiarity with standard welding tools and procedures, including: MIG and TIG welding, Aluminum welding, Metal fabrication, grinding, and finishing.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical specifications.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on process improvement.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of basic mechanical systems and mechanical issues.
