We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer responsible for driving process improvement initiatives across the entire value chain. This role focuses on developing and enhancing manufacturing processes, improving product quality, and partnering with production teams to ensure successful implementation of operational improvements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on manufacturing floor experience, strong problem-solving skills, and exposure to New Product Introduction (NPI), process optimization, and equipment implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and support successful launch of New Product Introductions (NPI) within Operations.
  • Contribute to facility transformation initiatives and technology transfer projects.
  • Support mixed-model production lines and value streams.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through implementation of policies, procedures, and process documentation.
  • Implement demand-driven manufacturing principles to enhance flexibility, speed, and responsiveness.
  • Optimize product, material, and information flow to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Deploy standard tools, methodologies, and best practices to improve operational performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve production, quality, and fulfillment objectives.
  • Work closely with shop floor personnel to improve manufacturing methods, systems, and controls.
  • Develop area layouts and define manufacturing processes.
  • Support PLC programming, equipment design/selection, justification, and implementation of tooling and automation.
  • Lead problem-solving initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering or similar environment.
  • Experience supporting process improvement and production operations.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience coordinating New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
  • Experience supporting facility transformations or technology transfers.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Solid Works, or Pro/E.
  • Experience with PLC programming and automation systems.
  • Experience working in high-mix/low-volume and high-volume/low-mix production environments.
  • Demonstrated project leadership and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
