Folder Gluer Operator
IQ Resource Group is Hiring!
IQ Resource Group is currently seeking an experienced Folder Gluer Operator for our client in Fond du Lac, WI. This is a great opportunity to join a growing manufacturing team where your skills and attention to detail will play a key role in producing high-quality packaging products.
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour (based on experience)
Available Shifts:
- 1st Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
The Folder Gluer Operator is responsible for setting up and operating folder gluer machines to produce finished cartons that meet customer specifications and quality standards. This position works closely with production, quality, and maintenance teams to maximize efficiency, minimize downtime, and ensure consistent product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate folder gluer machines according to job specifications
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain optimal production output
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Perform routine maintenance and assist with minor equipment repairs
- Troubleshoot machine and production issues as they arise
- Read and interpret job tickets, blueprints, and production schedules
- Complete production records and documentation accurately
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and quality personnel
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Previous experience operating folder gluers or similar manufacturing equipment preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical training in printing, packaging, or a related field is preferred
- Frequent standing and walking throughout the shift
- Regular use of hands to operate, adjust, and maintain equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong visual acuity, including close vision and color differentiation
- Ability to communicate effectively in a production environment
- Overtime and schedule adjustments may be required based on production demands and customer needs
