Experience Requirements Previous welding or metal fabrication experience preferred MIG welding experience preferredTIG and aluminum welding experience is a plus Experience reading blueprints and weld symbols
Experience using measuring tools accurately
Experience working in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred
Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required
Technical training or post-secondary education in welding or fabrication preferred
Ability to pass required welding certifications if needed
Essential Duties and Responsibilities As a Weekday Welder, you’ll help fabricate and manufacture metal products according to customer and production specifications.
Perform MIG welding and other welding processes as needed
Fabricate and manufacture metal parts
Produce clean, strong welds that meet quality standards
Read and follow blueprints, weld symbols, and specifications
Inspect welds for strength, tolerance, and accuracy
Grind, finish, and prepare metal materials
Troubleshoot welding and production issues
Assist with process improvements and production efficiency
Complete routine equipment maintenance as needed
Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work Ability to use measuring tools accurately
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities

Commitment to workplace safety and PPE requirements
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
