2nd Shift Medium Winder Roll Hanger

Job Summary

Medium Winder Roll Hanger (2nd Shift) – Greif. Under direct supervision, performs entry-level routine activities associated with various types of assembly machine operation and setup. Shift: Monday-Thursday, 1:40 pm-11:40 pm. Shift differential: $1.25 per hour.

• Operate production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications provided.
• Carry out routine activities that produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
• Measure finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
• Maintain logs and records of units produced.
• Report any errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
• Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment and perform basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area and follow safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma (or equivalent) and up to 2 years of relevant experience.

• Willingness to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machinery.
• Fundamental understanding of or ability to quickly learn production equipment.

Base pay: $21.41 per hour. Eligible for a short-term incentive. Offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, paid time off, and other competitive benefits effective the employee's first day.
