Safely support the press department to produce quality product while meeting all customer specifications and requirements.

Schedule
  • 12‑hour shifts on a 2‑2‑3 schedule rotating bi‑weekly from day to night.
  • 12‑hour straight night shifts on a 2‑2‑3 schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a safety leader and put safety first in all responsibilities.
  • Lead all aspects of operation of press lines, including changeovers, machine start‑up, running, and shut‑down.
  • Support operations in becoming world class in all aspects, beginning with safety.
  • Run all jobs in accordance with customer, manufacturing, print specifications, color folders, and SOPs.
  • Ensure all required paperwork is accurately completed, including production reports, job verification sheets, ink usage sheets, QA reports, roll tickets, SOC sheets, etc.
  • Work with and direct the press assistant and pit crew to minimize job change‑over and downtime.
  • Train and direct the press assistant to become efficient at assistant duties defined in the training matrix on time.
  • Understand the role in product safety.
  • Comply with all 5S and WCM initiatives (cross training, moving to the work).
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Qualifications
  • Previous manufacturing and machine operation experience.
  • Experience in quality checks, interpreting results to adjust machinery and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Knowledgeable of computers and programs.
  • Adequate math, measurement, and reading skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to perform detailed visual inspections using measurement devices.
  • Commitment to teamwork, safety, and quality.
Physical Requirements
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand for long periods (steel‑toed shoes required).
  • Perform climbing, crouching, and reaching.
  • Reasonable accommodations considered on a case‑by‑case basis.
