* Position Summary:

** Operate the Palletizer and Strapper equipment while performing quality checks of the finished goods to produce highest quality cans at the lowest possible costs.
*
* Essential Functions:

*** Operate Palletizer and Strapper equipment.
* Perform visual check of finished goods.
* Remove, damaged and/or suspect finished goods from palletizer and report same to Supervision, Production Line Operator and Quality Inspector.
* Utilize proper packaging materials (Chipboard, top frames and pallets)
* Verify and place proper pallet tags on finished goods.
* Keeps equipment and all areas safe, clean, and organized through proper housekeeping
* Follow all required environmental, health and safety procedures
* Performs other related duties as required
* Must have the ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds on occasion and regularly stand, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

Qualifications:

*** 6 months of experience in a manufacturing setting (high-speed manufacturing is preferred).
* Exhibit safety and quality as their top priorities
* Effective record keeping skills and the ability to focus on details.
* Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks at the same time.
* Effective and proven communication skills (both written and verbal) working in a team environment.

* Education:

*** High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
* Must be able to stand continuously for more than 8+ hours per shift.
* Must be able to walk, lift/carry up to 50 lbs on occasion.
* Must be about to stand, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
* Must be able to twist at the waist and bend repetitively.
* This position may also require climbing or balancing.

Must be able to work up to twelve (12) hour shifts, both day and evening.
