Forklift Operator, Material Handler
Job Description
As a Load Hauler, you will supply boxes to production lines and transfer finished product to the warehouse under the supervision of the Production Supervisor. This role is performed during the 2nd Shift (Monday‑Friday, 2:00 PM‑10:00 PM).
Wage
Start: $24.02 90‑Day: $25.00 1 Year: $25.97
Responsibilities- Supply production lines with required boxes and pallets.
- Verify correct item information and pallet quantity.
- Transfer finished product from casing room to the warehouse.
- Place pallets on an automated wrapper.
- Locate pallets within the warehouse.
- Safely place and remove pallets from the racking system.
- Load and remove pallets from automated palletizers.
- Operate a stand‑up forklift.
- Read packaging and labeling information correctly.
- Basic math competencies.
- Lift, carry, push, and stack up to 50 pounds.
- Push/pull heavy loads with a pallet.
- Read and comprehend safety warnings and directives related to machinery and production processes.
- Work as part of a team and communicate professionally with production and supervisory personnel.
- Accurately utilize computer programs and operate RF scanning and data collection systems.
- Consistent and reliable attendance to maintain adequate staffing levels.
The facility is clean, cool, and contains robotic case packers, case erectors, case sealers, moving belts, and forklifts that operate in the packaging area.
