Printing Press Assistants

Responsibilities

• Follow quality requirements to meet or exceed expectations.
• Prepare for upcoming orders.
• Package/Wrap finished rolls.
• Monitor viscosities and complete PH forms.
• Find ink on specification sheet and disperse.
• Use forklift/clamp trucks to transport product.
• Fill in for the Press Operator job when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

2, 2, 3 rotating between days and nights every two weeks.

• The employee must frequently position or move up to 25-50 pounds.
• Lifting or moving items weighing greater than 50 pounds requires the use of lifting equipment or co-worker assistance.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and ability to see appropriate colors.

• Work primarily in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Hearing protection, safety shoes, vision protection and other necessary PPE as required.
• May be exposed to non-toxic or nuisance smells from chemicals, inks, airborne dust, moving mechanical parts, high noise levels and hot/humid environmental conditions in the manufacturing area.
