2nd Shift Assistant Operator

Greif is hiring a 2nd Shift Medium Winder Assistant Operator (Open). Job Requisition #: 034552.

Under supervision, applies general knowledge and skills to perform mostly routine activities associated with various types of assembly machine operation and/or setup. 2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 1:40 pm – 11:40 pm.

• Operate routine production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications.
• Produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
• Measure finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
• Maintain logs and records of units produced.
• Report any errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
• Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; perform basic adjustments and maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

High school diploma (or equivalent) and 1‑2 years of relevant experience.

• Follow directions and work well in a team.
• Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machinery.
• Solid understanding of production equipment.

Pay: $22.70 per hour. Shift differential: $1.25/hr position may also be eligible for a short‑term incentive.
