034552 2nd Shift Assistant Operator (Open)

Under supervision, apply general knowledge and skills to perform mostly routine activities associated with various types of assembly machine operation and/or setup.

2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 1:40pm-11:40pm

Shift Differential: $1.25/hr

• Operate mostly routine production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications provided.
• Perform mostly routine activities that produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
• Measure finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
• Maintain logs and records of units produced.
• Report any errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
• Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; perform basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Follow safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 1-2 years of relevant experience.

• Follow directions and work well in a team.
• Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machineries.
• Solid understanding of the production equipment.

The pay for this position is $22.70 per hour. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
