Role Overview
Job Requisition #: 034609 2nd Shift Production Operator (Open).
Under direct supervision, performs entry‑level routine activities associated with various types of assembly machine operation and/or setup.
Shift2nd Shift: Monday through Thursday, 1:40pm – 11:40pm. Shift differential: $1.25/hr.
Key Responsibilities- Operate routine production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications provided.
- Carry out routine activities that produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
- Measure finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
- Maintain logs and records of units produced.
- Report any errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
- Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; perform basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
- Follow safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
High school diploma (or equivalent) and up to 2 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge and Skills- Willingness to follow directions and work well in a team.
- Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machineries.
- Fundamental understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
The pay range for this position is $17.55 – $28.03 annually. The competitive wage for new hires will fall between $22.64 and $22.64. Offers may vary based on market data and other factors such as job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
