2nd Shift CNC Machinist

Position Summary

Work Model:
Fully onsite role, work performed at designated Regal Rexnord office.

The CNC Machinist position at Arrowhead Conveyor requires knowledge of CNC mills, lathes, program downloading and editing, CNC fixturing/setup, and layout duties.

• Transform blueprint information to the workpiece.
• Maintain tooling stock and coordinate boxing of dull tooling.
• Use tape measure, square, scribe, calipers, protractor, punch, and micrometers to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Design, fabricate, and set up jigs and fixtures; block, align, and secure pieces; maintain inventory and records on work orders.
• Select proper speeds and feeds, tooling, and operational sequences based on material and operation.
• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC milling machine and CNC lathe.
• Complete labor reports, material issue logs, kit lists, scrap reports, and material moves accurately.
• Perform cycle counts as prescribed by Production and Inventory Control.
• Interpret work orders, blueprints, and bills of material.
• Maintain tooling stock including drill bits, countersinks, keyway tooling, milling cutters, taps, pipe taps, spot faces, scribes, and other machine shop equipment.
• Track production schedules and releases.
• Record jig and fixture maintenance records.
• Perform hand, bench, and light machine operations for deburring, filing, grinding, and polishing of parts.

• GED or high‑school diploma with at least two years of related CNC experience and/or training.
• Ability to calculate percentages, areas, circumferences, and volumes; apply basic algebra and geometry.
• Troubleshoot practical problems and adapt to variable conditions with limited standardization.
• Interpret written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule instructions.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously.
