Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Assemble electrical and electromechanical systems, frameworks, and enclosures used in switch gear manufacturing.
  • Perform point‑to‑point wiring between components following wiring prints, schematic diagrams, specification sheets, and bills of material (BOM).
  • Measure, cut, route, label, and terminate wire to specified lengths and standards.
  • Install and connect electrical components such as terminal blocks, breakers, relays, control devices, and bus components.
  • Review and analyze work orders, wiring diagrams, and schematics to identify materials and assembly instructions.
  • Adjust, repair, or replace electrical components to resolve defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Identify, mark, and tag parts and assemblies for tracking, quality, and inventory purposes.
  • Prepare finished products for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and minor touch‑up work.
  • Assist with loading or movement of completed assemblies when required.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and workstations in accurate working condition.
  • Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures, attend safety meetings, and accurately use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and maintain quality and efficiency expectations.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in electrical assembly, wiring, or manufacturing is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Comparable blend of education and experience may be taken into account.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
  • Experience using hand tools such as screwdrivers, crimpers, wire cutters, and tape measures.
  • Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Good hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity for working with small parts and wiring.
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Basic problem‑solving skills and willingness to learn.

  • Completes assigned tasks on time and meets efficiency expectations.
  • Follows established safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
