Mechanical Assembler 1st Shift

Aerotek -  - Responsibilities:
Lead the assembly of metal components and sub-assemblies in accordance with blueprints, job packets, and established procedures.;
Plan and perform large and complex mechanical assemblies with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.;
Provide direction and guidance to other assemblers while working under minimal supervision.;
Assist with additional assembly jobs and tasks as assigned to support production needs.;
Perform inspections at multiple stages of the assembly process to ensure quality standards are met and scheduled job time is reduced.;
Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to determine assembly requirements and sequence of operations.;
Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including band saws, drill presses, grinders, belt sanders, and similar equipment.;
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with safety policies and procedures.;
Use appropriate personal protective equipment, including steel-toe footwear and ear and eye protection, while performing all tasks.;
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve assembly issues and improve processes where possible.
