* Job Description:

**** Production Line Operator

* Position Summary:

** Production Line Operator assist Production Line Mechanic with all direct and indirect production equipment, such as: feeders, slitters, welders, conveyors, elevators, flangers, beaders, double seamers, tester, palletizers, strappers etc.
*
* Essential Functions:

*** Operate and assist Production Line Mechanic in maintaining production line efficiencies, quality of production and records.
* Perform quality checks.
* Work under the direction of Production Line Mechanic.
* Follow all required environmental, health and safety procedures.
* Maintain proper housekeeping and safety – keep work area clean.
** Skills and

Qualifications:

*** Two years of experience in a manufacturing setting (high-speed manufacturing is preferred).
* Must be mechanically inclined.
* Exhibit safety and quality as their top priorities.
* Effective and proven communication skills (both written and verbal) working in a team environment.
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Experience with metal coatings is a plus.

* Education:

*** High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
** Physical Demands:
*** Must be able to stand continuously for more than 8+ hours per shift.
* Must be able to walk, lift/carry up to 50 lbs on occasion.
* Must be about to stand, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
* Must be able to twist at the waist and bend repetitively.
* This position may also require climbing or balancing.
* Must be able to work up to twelve (12) hour shifts, both day and evening.
