Saw Operator

Experience Requirements Previous manufacturing or metal fabrication experience preferred. Prior experience operating industrial saws or related fabrication equipment is a plus.

Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Post-secondary training in manufacturing, machining, or metal fabrication is preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Set up and operate saws and other metal fabrication equipment

Operate punch presses, tapping equipment, metal stamping equipment, mills, and drills as assigned

Follow blueprints, work instructions, and job specifications

Inspect completed parts for accuracy and quality

Follow all safety procedures and use required PPETroubleshoot equipment and production concerns

Recommend process improvements

Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance

Maintain regular and dependable attendance

Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

Basic math and measurement skills

Strong attention to detail

Ability to communicate information accurately

Self-motivated and dependable

Ability to follow safety and quality procedures

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance
