MIG Welder

Join a skilled team on 1st shift and put your precision to work as a MIG Welder!

Shift: 6am to 2:30pm Monday thru Friday OR 4am to 2:30pm Monday thru Thursday Wage
: $25-31/hr

• Position and secure parts in jigs, fixtures, or clamps according to specifications.
• Select welding equipment and settings based on material type, thickness, and welding requirements.
• Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and welding specifications.
• Lay out, position, and tack weld work pieces prior to final welding.
• Perform MIG welding on a variety of metal components (mainly steel).
• Inspect completed welds for quality, bead size, and conformance to specifications.
• Repair cracked, damaged, or worn metal components and fill holes as required.
• Grind, chip, and clean welds to remove excess material, slag, or spatter.
• Clean and degrease parts prior to welding to ensure proper weld quality.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area while following all safety procedures.

• Previous MIG welding experience required.
• TIG welding experience preferred; willingness to perform TIG welding as needed.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Experience using measuring tools and performing quality inspections.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. frequently, and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
