Job Description
We are seeking a CNC Machinist to perform CNC vertical mill and lathe operations in a machining center. This role produces prototype components and short-run production parts in an independent, machinist-led cell, using Mastercam or other CAM software and offering a four-day, 10-hour work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and tend CNC machining equipment.
- Perform CNC milling and turning operations.
- Program machines from customer drawings using Mastercam or CAM software.
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Select appropriate tooling to complete parts.
- Inspect parts using precision measurement and inspection equipment.
- Maintain clean equipment, tools, and work areas.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of CNC machining experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with CNC milling and turning.
- G-code programming experience.
- Blueprint reading proficiency.
- Knowledge of cutting tool selection.
- Experience with precision measurement.
- Strong attention to detail.
