2026 Habitat ReStore Makeover VISTA - Oshkosh

The goal of the Habitat for Humanity of Wisconsin VISTA Program is to build a better Wisconsin by assisting local organizations to increase the capacity and sustainability of programs focused on alleviating poverty. With passion, commitment, and hard work, our Ameri Corps VISTA members help organizations bring individuals and communities out of poverty. Habitat for Humanity of Oshkosh knows that housing impacts every area of a family’s life—health, safety, education outcomes, and financial opportunity.

• Volunteer Optimization:
  Create and implement a plan to expand the use of volunteers in the ReStore, improving the shopper experience and increasing sales and in‑kind donations.

  Based on feedback and best practices, develop a plan to improve the store’s layout, signage, and other in‑store elements.
• Restore Operations:
  Review store operations, spend time in each role to gain a deeper understanding, revise operating procedures, and develop metrics to measure progress.

• Housing stipend: $400 per month
