Position Summary

Community Warehouse isseekingan outgoing, mission-driven, and relationship-focused Reentry Recruitment Specialist to recruit and connect justice-impacted individuals to the Partners in Hope (PiH) Reentry Program and its supportive services.

The Reentry Recruitment Specialist is responsible for identifying, recruiting, and onboarding new participants into the PiH Reentry Program while building strong relationships with referral partners and increasing community awareness of available reentry services. This role serves as a key ambassador for the organization by promoting the mission of Partners in Hope and helping individuals successfully access resources, support systems, and opportunities that contribute to long-term stability and success.

The ideal candidate is an effective communicator, community connector, and passionate advocate for second chances, restoration, and community reintegration.

Key Responsibilities Recruit and Onboard New Participants
  • Conduct outreach and engagement efforts to recruit eligible participants into reentry programming and services
  • Guide participants through intake, orientation, onboarding, and enrollment processes
  • Provide clear and supportive communicationregardingprogram expectations, services, and opportunities
  • Maintainaccurateparticipant intake documentation and records
  • Providelessons and resources for individuals who are currently incarcerated to develop pre-release leads
Build Relationships with Referral Partners
  • Develop andmaintainpositive working relationships withcorrectional facilities, probation and parole offices, workforce agencies, community organizations, shelters, treatment providers, and other referral sources
  • Serve as a professional and reliable point of contact for community and referral partners
  • Strengthen partnerships that support participant referrals and collaboration opportunities
Share Program Information in the Community
  • Promote organizational programs, services, workshops, and events throughout the community
  • Distribute outreach materials and provide presentations about available reentry support services
  • Represent the organization at community meetings, networking events, resource fairs, and outreach opportunities
  • Help increase awareness of reentry services and reduce stigma related to incarceration and reentry
Coordinate Outreach Events and Presentations
  • Plan and coordinate outreach events, informational sessions, workshops, and community presentations
  • Assist with event logistics, scheduling, materials preparation, and participant engagement
  • Collaborate with staff and community partners to organize impactful outreach initiatives
  • Track outreach efforts, participation, and community engagement outcomes
Community Engagement and Advocacy
  • Build trust and positive relationships with justice-impacted individuals and community stakeholders
  • Advocate forequitableaccess to resources and opportunities for participants
  • Promote a welcoming, respectful, and supportive environment for all participants and partners
Documentation and Reporting
  • Maintainaccuraterecords of outreach activities, referrals, participant engagement, and community partnerships
  • Assist with data collection, reporting, and organizational tracking requirements
  • Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in all documentation and communication
Team Collaboration
  • Collaborate with staff, volunteers, and community partners to support organizational goals
  • Participate in meetings, planning efforts, and program development initiatives
  • Support the overall mission and vision of the organization
Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’sdegree preferred in Communications, Human Services, Social Work, Nonprofit Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field
  • Experience in outreach, recruitment, community engagement, nonprofit services, or reentry support preferred
  • Strong communication, networking, and public speaking skills
