Schedule:

Standard office hours, Monday to Friday, 1st shift. Schedule is aligned with clinic needs.
Pay Range: $21.85–$32.80 for MA; $24.10–$36.15 for LPN, based on qualifications, skills, and experience.

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab‑related tasks including specimen collection and point‑of‑care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high‑quality, coordinated care.

• Licensure or Certifications
  • LPN
    :
    Licensed Practical Nurse license issued by the state.
  • MA
    :
    Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA); must be obtained within 45 days unless waived by the department leader.
• Education
  • GED or high‑school equivalency diploma.
  • LPN
    :
    Advanced training beyond high school including completion of an accredited or approved Practical Nursing program.
  • MA
    :
    Completion of an accredited or approved Medical Assistant program, or two years of verifiable full‑time experience as a Medical Assistant within the last five years.

• Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday.
• Must be able to lift and support up to 35 pounds when handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.
• Must be able to push/pull with 30 lbs. of force and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present.
• Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine hand manipulation skills for IV insertion and other procedures.
• Maneuver foot pedals on carts or machines.
• Perform physical safety interventions such as patient restraint and verbal de‑escalation, if needed.
• May be exposed to chemical and hazardous waste as well as blood and body fluids and communicable disease; protective clothing and equipment must be worn as necessary.
• Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.
• Physical Abilities Testing may be required.
• Additional department‑specific physical requirements may be identified for unique responsibilities by the nurse leader.
