RN/LPN Needed to Help Care for My Medically Fragile 14‑Year‑Old — Oshkosh, WI (20–40 hrs/week)

I am a mother in Oshkosh looking for a skilled and compassionate RN or LPN to help care for my 14‑year‑old child. My child has complex medical needs, and I’m hoping to find someone who is confident in their clinical skills, calm under pressure, and genuinely caring.

To help find the right fit, I am working with a third‑party support team to assist with the hiring process. All communication will still come directly through me, but they are helping to ensure we connect with qualified nurses.

I’m looking for 20–40 hours per week, typically 8 AM–5 PM, but I’m flexible and willing to work around your availability.

My child requires consistent, attentive skilled nursing support. Their care includes:

• Seizure management
• Oxygen support
• GJ‑tube feedings
• Frequent suctioning
• Nebulizer respiratory treatments
• Monitoring for severe airway obstruction

Your presence will directly impact their comfort, safety, and quality of life.

You would be responsible for:

• Providing bed baths (no lifting required)
• Frequent suctioning
• Diaper changes
• Administering respiratory treatments
• Assisting with medications
• Managing GJ‑tube feedings
• Monitoring airway concerns and responding appropriately

This role requires someone who is attentive, steady, and confident in skilled nursing care.

A licensed RN or LPN who is:

• Reliable and compassionate
• Experienced with medically fragile children
• Skilled in suctioning, respiratory care, and tube feeding
• Comfortable responding to airway issues and seizures
• Professional, patient, and communicative

Experience with complex pediatric care is helpful, but I’m open to training the right nurse.

Pay is dependent on licensure and experience (RN/LPN). This position is funded through Medicaid, and rates follow program guidelines.
