Pay Range: $24.10 – $36.15 per hour (actual compensation for MA: $21.85–$32.80, for LPN: $24.10–$36.15)
Schedule:
Monday 0715‑1700;
Tuesday 0715‑1700;
Wednesday off;
Thursday 0715‑1700;
Friday 0645‑1530 (36 hours per week)
- LPN:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the state in which the team member practices. - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) (must be obtained within 45 days unless not required).
- GED or High‑School Equivalency Diploma.
- LPN:
Advanced training beyond high school that includes completion of an accredited or approved program in Practical Nursing. - MA:
Completion of an accredited or approved program in Medical Assistant, or 2 years of verifiable full‑time experience as a Medical Assistant within the last 5 years.
- Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
- Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
- Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
- Perform lab‑related tasks including specimen collection and point‑of‑care testing.
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
- Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high‑quality, coordinated care.
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently throughout the workday.
- Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.
- Must be able to push/pull with 30 lbs. of force and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present.
- Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with the ability to use fine hand manipulation skills for IV insertion and other procedures/functions.
- Maneuver foot pedals on carts or machines.
- Perform physical safety interventions such as patient restraint and verbal de‑escalation, if needed.
- May be exposed to chemical and hazardous waste as well as blood and body fluids and communicable disease; protective clothing and equipment must be worn as necessary.
- Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.
- Physical ability testing may be required.
- Additional department‑specific physical requirements may apply for unique responsibilities within the department.
