Job Description:
As a Travel OR RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. You will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other members of the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outes.
- Prepare patients for surgery by assessing their condition and ensuring all pre-operative procedures are pleted
- Assist in the operating room during surgical procedures, including instrument preparation and passing, monitoring patient vitals, and providing necessary care
- Maintain a sterile environment to prevent infections and plications
- Monitor patients during recovery and provide post-operative care and instructions
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in medical records
- Current RN license in Wisconsin
- Minimum of 2 years of recent OR experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic techniques
- Excellent munication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
