• Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all inmate interactions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Implement evidence-based protocols to improve health outcomes.
• Track and analyze patient metrics to meet performance targets.
• Document incident reports and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain readiness for on-site emergencies and crisis response.
• Educate inmates on health maintenance, prevention, and wellness.
• Mentor and support peers to foster professional growth and merit-based advancement.

• Active RN license in the state of employment, with no sanctions.
• Correctional healthcare experience or demonstrated ability to work in secure settings.
• Strong clinical assessment, triage, and charting skills for inmate populations.
• Medication administration and monitoring per nurse-driven treatment plans.
• Knowledge of inmate confidentiality, HIPAA-like standards, and ethical care.
• Crisis response readiness and on-site emergency protocols.
• Ability to document incident reports and participate in quality improvement projects.
• Data-driven approach: track, analyze patient metrics, and meet performance targets.
• Strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and mentor for peers.
• Evidence-based protocol implementation to improve health outcomes.
