About the Role

Are you a veterinarian who loves connecting with clients and patients in a calm, personal setting?

Join our team as a House Call Veterinarian and bring high-quality care directly to pets in the comfort of their homes. You’ll practice exceptional medicine, enjoy real flexibility, and rediscover the joy of veterinary medicine — on your own schedule.

Our goal is simple: to provide high-quality, compassionate primary care to dogs and cats where they’re happiest — at home.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us
  • No weekends. No on-call. No emergencies.
  • Flexible schedule:
Want to drop your kids off at school? Work a shorter day? Only work two days a week? We can make it work.
  • Regular hours:
    Patients are seen from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
  • Choose your territory:
Serve the full area (Milwaukee → Brookfield → West Bend → Port Washington) or just the region that fits your life.
  • Built-in support: A Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) handles client calls and scheduling, so you can focus on patient care.
  • Ready-to-roll setup:
We provide a company vehicle (RAV4/CR-V) or mileage reimbursement at the federal rate. A work cell phone is also included.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary: From $110,000/year, commensurate with experience

Benefits include:

  • 401(k) with matching
  • Health insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Employee discount
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Professional development & CE assistance
  • Additional earning potential if you choose to take on a fuller schedule (4–5 days/week).
What You’ll Do
  • Provide in-home preventive, diagnostic, and minor medical care for dogs and cats.
  • Manage 1-hour appointments with built-in travel time.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients through clear communication and compassionate care.
  • Collaborate with support staff to ensure seamless scheduling and follow-up.
What You’ll Need
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active Wisconsin veterinary license in good standing.
  • 2+ years of experience in small-animal general practice preferred.
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills.
  • A love for personalized, relationship-based care — and the independence that comes with it.
What Sets This Role Apart

This is your chance to practice meaningful, relationship-driven medicine without giving up your evenings, weekends, or family time. You’ll make a real difference — for pets, for clients, and for yourself.
