Job Overview
A quality system support role within Amcor manufacturing operations, ensuring high‑quality products are delivered to customers.
Responsibilities- Manage and guide quality lab staff, overseeing day‑to‑day lab activities.
- Investigate internal and external complaints, providing root‑cause analysis and problem‑solving.
- Initiate and supervise waste/scrap reduction and cost‑savings projects, generating reports and presentations for process improvement and cost justification.
- Support customer‑driven initiatives and participate in external audits (customer and third‑party audit facilities such as FSSC
22000, IMS, etc.). - Participate in internal audits, arranging audits, training, issue close‑out, reporting, tracking and elevation of findings.
- Administrate and maintain notification systems for internal, supplier and customer notifications, ensuring accuracy and timely closure.
- Track material dispositions, follow up on pending dispositions and participate in daily internal notification meetings.
- Provide direction and guidance to the Notification Coordinator, set and monitor duty priorities, reassign duties as needed and coordinate backup activities during out‑of‑office periods.
- Adhere to health, GMP and safety policies, act as a safety leader and enforce all company policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties and projects as required.
- Degree in industrial/manufacturing application or quality assurance (preferred).
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in blown film, flexo printing and/or adhesive lamination.
- Quality‑related experience preferred.
- Acquire Green Belt status (minimum).
- Effective communication skills, strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities, and the ability to make quick decisions.
- Excellent teamwork, leadership, customer service focus and the ability to manage, coach and develop people.
