Quality Supervisor

Job Overview

A quality system support role within Amcor manufacturing operations, ensuring high‑quality products are delivered to customers.

• Manage and guide quality lab staff, overseeing day‑to‑day lab activities.
• Investigate internal and external complaints, providing root‑cause analysis and problem‑solving.
• Initiate and supervise waste/scrap reduction and cost‑savings projects, generating reports and presentations for process improvement and cost justification.
• Support customer‑driven initiatives and participate in external audits (customer and third‑party audit facilities such as FSSC
  22000, IMS, etc.).
• Participate in internal audits, arranging audits, training, issue close‑out, reporting, tracking and elevation of findings.
• Administrate and maintain notification systems for internal, supplier and customer notifications, ensuring accuracy and timely closure.
• Track material dispositions, follow up on pending dispositions and participate in daily internal notification meetings.
• Provide direction and guidance to the Notification Coordinator, set and monitor duty priorities, reassign duties as needed and coordinate backup activities during out‑of‑office periods.
• Adhere to health, GMP and safety policies, act as a safety leader and enforce all company policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties and projects as required.

• Degree in industrial/manufacturing application or quality assurance (preferred).
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in blown film, flexo printing and/or adhesive lamination.
• Quality‑related experience preferred.
• Acquire Green Belt status (minimum).
• Effective communication skills, strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities, and the ability to make quick decisions.
• Excellent teamwork, leadership, customer service focus and the ability to manage, coach and develop people.
