Quality Assurance Manager

Aegis is partnered with a long-standing manufacturer of custom electrical transformers and magnetic components serving the defense, industrial automation, energy, and utility industries. Backed by a global parent company, this organization offers the stability of an established manufacturer with the opportunity to make a significant impact. They are seeking a hands‑on Quality Assurance Manager to lead the quality function at their Oshkosh facility.

• Lead and maintain the company's Quality Management System
• Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections
• Manage calibration programs, quality documentation, and corrective actions
• Host customer audits and collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales
• Lead and mentor two Quality Technicians while remaining hands‑on on the production floor
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure product quality

• 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience within manufacturing
• Previous leadership or high-level Quality Engineering experience
• Strong understanding of inspection methods, quality documentation, and calibration programs
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
• Experience with in electrical manufacturing is a plus

This is a highly visible leadership role reporting directly to the VP/General Manager with the flexibility of either a contract or direct hire opportunity.
