Quality Technician

Evaluation to Hire OR Direct Hire Opportunity!

Hours: Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:00pm

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00/HR

Duties:

• Adhere to the company Quality System and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance

• Serve as the customer’s advocate in all quality‑related decisions

• Perform First Article, In‑Process, and Final Inspections using drawings, specifications, sampling plans, and appropriate inspection methods

• Assist in determining best practices and optimized processes for manufacturing

• Initiate quality plans, procedures, and documentation for products as needed

• Maintain, calibrate, and verify inspection equipment when assigned

• Investigate and support corrective action plans to resolve quality issues

• Conduct ISO internal audits according to the audit schedule

• Use precision inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, surface testers, height gages, and CMM equipment

• Document inspection results through reports, logs, and digital records

• Operate CNC machinery when required to support production or inspection needs

• Collaborate with production, engineering, and management to ensure product quality and continuous improvement

• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality‑related role preferred

• Strong understanding of engineering prints, drawings, and GD&T principles

• Hands‑on experience operating lathes, mills, grinders, and machining centers

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation

• Familiarity with process development, process controls, and continuous improvement practices

• Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC)

• Proficiency with precision measurement tools and inspection equipment

• Experience with First Article, in‑process, and final inspection processes

• Understanding of ISO quality systems and internal auditing practices

• Strong documentation skills with attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to troubleshoot quality issues and support corrective actions

• Solid communication skills and a collaborative mindset
