Manufacturer seeking a Quality Engineer to support new product launches and serve as the primary customer-facing quality representative throughout product development and production startup. This role focuses on APQP, PPAP, process validation, and ensuring products meet quality and regulatory requirements before full production.
Key Highlights- Lead quality activities for new product introductions using APQP methodologies.
- Develop and manage PPAP submissions, PFMEAs, control plans, and inspection documentation.
- Act as the main customer quality contact during product development and launch.
- Conduct root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support ISO-compliant quality systems, audits, and regulatory requirements.
- Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally supporting NPI activities.
- Strong APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, and GD&T knowledge.
- Experience with root cause analysis, SPC, auditing, and quality systems.
- Experience with metal fabrication and welding a plus
Ideal Candidate A customer-focused Quality Engineer with strong NPI experience who can effectively lead APQP and PPAP activities, drive process improvements, and ensure successful product launches.
